Karleen Krenicky is running for Rose Tree Media School Board Director. Karleen has been a resident of Rose Tree Media School District for the past eight years. She and her husband, Robert Bray, have two children, Thomas (8) and Molly (5), both of whom attend Indian Lane Elementary School. Her son Thomas is in the Intensive Learning Support Program. Karleen has lived in the Philadelphia area most of her life, first in Drexel Hill and then Phoenixville, heading to Washington D.C. for college.
She earned her J.D. degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from George Washington University, in the nation’s capital. With college classmates, Karleen became a founding board member of the Buzzing for Change Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children living with cancer. Fundraising activities engaged several collegiate communities, developing student leaders and inspiring action through participation.
Karleen began her legal career as a law clerk in the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, clerking for the Honorable Albert John Snite Jr. She advanced to practicing as an attorney at local firms, specializing in litigation.
Karleen has volunteered for various community groups including the Middletown Township Parks and Recreation Committee, the Mark Dombroski Memorial Run and Walk, and the Rocky Run YMCA.
As a School Director in the Rose Tree Media School District, Karleen pledges to ensure all children have access to the services they need to be as successful as they can be. To achieve that goal, she will collaborate with the community to give children the appropriate space they need to learn, with the best opportunities for success available for each individual child.
With these goals in mind, Karleen would be honored to be elected to serve a four-year term as Director on the Rose Tree Media School Board.
