Lee Harootunian

Lee Harootunian, a retired financial executive with over two decades of community involvement, is running for Edgmont Township Tax Collector. A 21-year township resident, Harootunian has developed a deep love for the community and a strong commitment to giving back. His extensive career in accounting and finance, coupled with being a Certified Public Accountant and earning a Master of Business Administration, equips him with the expertise to ensure accountability, efficiency, and transparency in tax collection.

Harootunian’s dedication to service shines through his volunteer work to preserve the environment and the arts, including lighthouse preservation, freshwater pond monitoring, and support of local concert venues along the National Seashore. He believes collaboration and teamwork are essential for solving problems and improving processes.

He will focus on maintaining honesty, integrity, and transparency for Edgmont residents. Harootunian is excited about the opportunity to serve as an active member of the local government. He invites residents to join him in building a stronger, more efficient township that prioritizes fiscal responsibility and community well-being.
