Karen Katz is running for Edgmont Township Auditor. She is committed to transparency and fiscal responsibility. A 24-year township resident, she and her husband raised three children who graduated from Rose Tree Media School District.
Katz is a Penn State alumna and holds an M.A. in Economics from the University of Akron. Her community involvement includes 14 years on the Lewis “Jumbo” Johnson Media Youth Center Board, membership in the Edgmont Historical Society, and extensive volunteering with the Rose Tree Media School District. Katz aims to serve with integrity and accountability, bringing professionalism and dedication to the Board of Auditors.
Karen Katz is running for Edgmont Township Auditor. She is committed to transparency and fiscal responsibility and brings a wealth of experience and passion to this role, promising to uphold the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
A dedicated resident of Edgmont Township for 24 years, Katz and her husband have raised their three children here, all of whom graduated from the Rose Tree Media School District. She is an alumna of Penn State and holds an M.A. in Economics from the University of Akron. Her extensive community involvement includes 14 years on the Lewis “Jumbo” Johnson Media Youth Center Board of Directors, membership in the Edgmont Historical Society, and volunteering with the Rose Tree Media School District since 2004. She has served on the Superintendent Advisory Board, Principal Advisory Board, and as president of the Parent Teacher Groups at Glenwood, Springton Lake, and Penncrest, in addition to chairing Penncrest’s AM Prom Committee.
Katz believes that local government should serve the people with integrity and accountability. She is eager to give back to her community and will bring professionalism, dedication, and transparency to Edgmont Township’s Board of Auditors.
