Josh Steinberg is running for election to the Upper Providence Township Council for District 3 to enhance communication, bolster public safety, and champion financial responsibility. A graduate of James Madison University and Temple University's School of Law, Josh is a practicing attorney with extensive experience listening, negotiating, and bringing parties together to get things done.
Active in the community, Josh serves on the Media Little League Board of Directors, including a stint as President, and coached teams at Media Little League, Media Hoops, and Rose Tree Soccer Club. He is a 16-year resident of Upper Providence and lives here with his wife, Adela, and two children. Influenced by his parents, both special education teachers, Josh is committed to advocacy and service.

An undergraduate alumnus of James Madison University and law school graduate of Temple University, Josh brings a wealth of experience negotiating contracts and overseeing transactions, gained through his career as an attorney. These skills will make him a valuable asset to the Township Council.
Josh's leadership in, and commitment to, the community is evident through his long-standing service on the Board of Directors of Media Little League, including, as President, many years coaching for Rose Tree Soccer Club, Media Hoops, and Media Little League, and his volunteering in various capacities over the years at Rose Tree Elementary, Springton Lake, and Penncrest.
Josh has lived in Upper Providence for 16 years with his wife, Adela, and their two children, who attend schools in the Rose Tree Media School District. Josh was deeply influenced by his parents, both special education teachers in Philadelphia public schools. His father’s nearly 40-year tenure with the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers instilled in him the importance of advocacy and service.
If elected, Josh pledges to make the council responsive to the critical needs of the Township's residents and to continue to ensure that their voices are heard and concerns addressed.
