Carrie Stare is running for the West Chester Area School Board, Region 3. Carrie’s background in public service, both professionally and as a volunteer, makes her uniquely qualified to be an effective advocate and champion for furthering educational goals in the district. Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Millersville University and will graduate in May 2021 with a master’s in Public Administration from West Chester University.
A proud product of Pennsylvania's public education system from kindergarten through graduate school, Carrie is running for school board because she believes we have an obligation to listen, learn, and build equitable systems where students thrive. She understands that some of the best ideas can come from students, teachers, and support staff. Carrie is a strong, passionate leader who will work to support and enact positive change in the community. Once elected, Carrie will strive to make WCASD a safer and more inclusive environment for all.

Previously, Carrier worked in retail and small business sales for AT&T. She began her career in retail management positions, then moved into sales leadership at Best Buy, where she supervised and coached a team selling computers and tablets.
